Conversion experience

I professed faith in Christ and was baptized at the age of 10 years. My spiritual growth was slow until, in my mid-twenties, God taught me the doctrines of His sovereign grace. At that point, I became aware of my total helplessness and my utter dependence on righteousness from Christ Jesus that must be imputed to me and that could only be apprehended by faith that was itself a gift from God.
